Jaun Elia Poems - The most  admired    Jon Elia was born on December 14, 1931 and died on November 8, 2002. He was a famous Urdu poet, philosopher, biographer and Pakistani scholar. He was the brother of the journalist Rais Amrohvi and Syed Muhammad Taqi and the husband of the columnist Zahida Hina. He was fine at Arabic, English, Persian, Sanskrit and Hebrew. Jaun Elia's first collection of poems, "Shayad", was published in 1991 at the age of 60. Jaun Elia's introduction to this collection provided an overview of his works and the culture in which he passed on his ideas.
